About

  The musicians in New  Joy  Band grew  up  in  San  Diego, California  neighborhood and bonded over their shared passions for rhythm, blues and funk.  Each member brings a unique musical aesthetic to the band and over the years have grown comfortable jumping genres and mashing up influences.  Depending on the gig band performs with 6-9 members.
